Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei is a plastic surgeon with clinical interest in reconstructive surgery as well as aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Yeo has the unique distinction of attaining both the Singapore and European board certifications as a plastic surgeon. He was awarded the Gold Medal by the College of Surgeons, Singapore, in 2013 for emerging as the top candidate in the Singapore plastic surgery board examinations. Dr. Yeo has undergone multiple reconstructive and aesthetic surgery fellowships and observerships in Australia, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand and the United States of America.
His past appointments includes Chairman, Chapter of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, College of Surgeons, Singapore from 2016 to 2019. Furthermore he was also a Council Member at the College of Surgeons, Singapore. Dr. Yeo was appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University in 2019 to present. Dr. Yeo was also a National Secretary at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons from 2020 to present. He is a visiting consultant for Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital from 2015 to present.
Dr. Yeo obtained his Fellowship in Advanced Reconstructive Microsurgery, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan ROC (2013), Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2013 – present) European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (2015 – present).
Apart from his clinical practise, Dr. Yeo is an International Associate Editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal. He is also active with volunteering has participated in charity surgical missions in Cambodia, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Dr. Yeo's specialty interests are aesthetic medicine, aesthetic surgery and reconstructive surgery.
