Operate Business Safely

Conducting business activities amid the pandemic takes extra planning to keep your staff and customers that come in contact with your workplace safe.

Here are some tips to help you operate your business safely:

Facility / Area Cleaning

Make sure you have established a cleaning schedule and implemented protocols to minimize risks of transmission. Consider providing disinfecting wipes at common areas to promote cleaning of work desks.

Social Distancing in the Workplace

Ensure there is ample space provided for staff and visitors in your workplace to move around the office safely. Carefully assess and analyse physical environments such as meeting or conference rooms, elevators, desks and other shared spaces, to develop effective social distancing measures and protocols.

Screening

Temperature monitoring and entry via SafeEntry protocols must be in place to manage people coming in and out of your workplace.

Wearing of Mask and
Personal Hygiene

Wearing masks at the workplace is one of the new norms. Do ensure that there are sufficient masks onsite for staff to change in case if it is soiled.

For hand hygiene, provide hand sanitizers as well as a steady supply of soap for regular usage.

Contact Tracing

The process identifies anyone who may have been in contact with an individual infected with COVID-19. Encourage all employees to download and activate the TraceTogether app and actively check in and out of the workplace using SafeEntry.

Communications

In this time of a new normal work arrangement, communicating changes to employees is critical for success.
