Dr. Peter Robless

Biography

Dr. Robless is a vascular surgeon based in Singapore. He has over a decade of specialist experience in treating a wide variety of vascular conditions.

Dr. Robless first graduated with MBChB from the University of Aberdeen (UK) in 1992 and then trained in general surgery before obtaining FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1996. He then became a Research Fellow at St Mary’s Hospital (UK) before receiving training in General and Vascular surgery on South East and North West Thames London Deanery Surgical rotations, Intercollegiate FRCS in General Surgery. He became a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery (2004) before moving to Australia where he spent a year as the Vascular Fellow at St George Hospital (Sydney) to subspecialize in Endovascular Surgery.

Prior to private practice, Dr. Robless was Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiac Thoracic and Vascular Surgery​ at the National University Hospital (NUH). He had also held concurrent appointments as Director, Vascular Medicine and Therapy Program, Non Invasive Vascular Laboratory and Founding Head of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the National University Heart Centre Singapore. He remains an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS).  

Dr. Robless is a frequent speaker at regional and international meetings and has published over 40 publications in specialist vascular and angiology journals.  

Dr. Robless' specialty interest is endovascular surgery.
