Dr. Seto obtained his basic medical degree from National University of Singapore in 1990. After completing National Service as Medical Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, he obtained Ministry of Health (MOH) traineeship in Diagnostic Radiology and completed Basic Specialist Training (BST) in Singapore and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists of the United Kingdom in the year 2000. This was followed by completion of Advanced Specialist Training (AST) in Radiology administered by the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board.
During AST, Dr. Seto focused on Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging, following which he obtained Certificate of Specialist Accreditation from MOH and Certificate of Specialist Registration from the Singapore Medical Council in 2003. In 2004, he received the MOH Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) fellowship in Cardiac MR imaging of paediatric and adult congenital heart diseases at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and the Toronto General Hospital.
After working for 10 years from year 2000 to 2010 in National University Hospital, Dr. Seto joined as a founding member of JurongHealth and worked in Alexandra Hospital followed by Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. In JurongHeath, Dr. Seto was Senior Consultant Interventional Radiologist where he provided vascular interventions as well as interventional oncology services. His other specialised services include Cardiac MRI and Contrast Ultrasonography. Dr. Seto’s administrative roles encompass oversight of the hospital’s Angiography laboratory and Radiology PACS (Picture Archival and Communication System). He was Chairman of the Technical Evaluation Committee for JurongHealth Cluster PACS for Radiology Project.
Dr. Seto was also co-appointed Clinical Lecturer with the National University of Singapore, teaching of NUS medical students.
In 2018 Dr. Seto left the public service to join Farrer Park Hospital as Senior Radiologist and Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Suite. He is also a member of various radiological societies, including committee member of the Interventional Radiology Subsection of the College of Radiologist and a reviewer of various medical journals.
Dr. Seto's specialty interests are cardiac MRI, contrast ultrasonography and interventional radiology.
