Biography

Dr. Sulaiman Bin Yusof is an experienced colorectal and general surgeon with Colorectal Clinic Associates. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2002. Thereafter, he worked and completed his Basic Surgical Training in the UK in 2006 and returned to work in Singapore in 2007.

Dr. Sulaiman obtained his fellowship in General Surgery in 2013 and became a member of Singapore Colorectal Society in 2015. He subsequently underwent HMDP training in Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne in 2016 under Professor Alexander Heriot. Aside from his work with Colorectal Clinic Associates, he is also a Senior Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in Changi General Hospital. He has also worked as Adjunct Associate Professor for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor for NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Duke NUS.

In the course of his career, Dr. Sulaiman has published several scientific articles dealing with various key topics relating to colorectal surgery including, but not limited to, colonic stenting in acute malignant large bowel obstruction and intestinal polyparasitic infections. Dr. Sulaiman has also received numerous awards such as the Singhealth Gold and Silver Service Award in 2020 and 2022 respectively.

Dr. Sulaiman’s specialty interest is in colorectal surgery.
