He graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed specialist training in Anaesthesia, followed by advanced fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. He holds multiple professional qualifications including the FPMANZCA, FIPP, EDPM, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
