Dr. Linsey Gani
Endocrinologist
Dr. Linsey Gani is a Consultant Endocrinologist practicing in LG Endocrinology, Novena Medical Center. She also holds an appointment as a visiting consultant with the Department of Endocrinology, Changi General Hospital, Singapore.
Dr. Gani graduated from the University of Melbourne where she was in the Dean’s Honor’s List. She is an accredited endocrinologist and a fellow with the Royal Australian College of Physician and Academy of Medicine in Singapore. She has completed a Masters of Public Health in health care management and public policy at the Harvard School of Public Health. She was a Clinical Senior Lecturer with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Clinical Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS. She was also part of the clinical core faculty member for the Singhealth Endocrinology Residency Program and a member of the Endocrinology Residency Assessment Committee. She was the director of the Eastern Community Health Outreach (ECHO) program in CGH that provides health screening and public health education.
She also set up the Osteoporosis Liaison Service in CGH. Dr. Gani is also an active clinical researcher who has published many of her works in peer-reviewed journal and is on the reviewer board of many high ranking journals such as “Diabetes Obesity and Metabolism “, “Acta Diabetologia “, “Scientific Reports , Nature “etc. Dr. Gani was the principal investigator for research involving hip fractures and atypical femoral fractures, she leads the CGH department in initiating research into genetics of atypical femoral research in collaboration with the Genome Institute of Singapore, A Star.
Dr. Gani also regularly participates in many regional conferences where she lectures and teaches courses on Bone Health and Diabetes. She currently serves as the vice president of Osteoporosis Society of Singapore where she regularly conducts programs and education sessions for healthcare professionals and the general public.
