You are invited to a Zoom presentation on Electromagnetic Incontinence Therapy by two prominent urologists. The presentation will be in two parts, namely: 

1) The Introduction With Clinical series of EMIT by Dr. Peter Lim
2) A New EMIT Machine Available at Farrer Park Medical Centre by Dr. Jimmy Beng 

Throughout this seminar, you will be introduced to this electromagnetic technology for treatment of both male and female incontinence. Discussions on this issue will assist you in familiarising yourself with this treatment method.

Dr. Lim Huat Chye Peter
Urologist

Dr. Lim Huat Chye Peter is a urologist with an impressive track record in both clinical excellence and medical leadership. He completed his medical education in Singapore before pursuing advanced specialist training in urology at renowned institutions in Edinburgh and London. With decades of experience, Dr. Lim has been at the forefront of urological care in Singapore and beyond. 

He previously served as the Head of the Department of Urology at Changi General Hospital, where he played a pivotal role in developing and advancing the hospital's urological services. His international training includes a clinical fellowship at the University of Edinburgh's Department of Urology, further enriching his expertise in complex urological conditions and procedures. 

Dr. Lim is a recipient of the Government of Singapore Scholarship in Advanced Urological Training and had medical fellowship with the University of Edinburgh and University College London, cementing his reputation as a leader in his field. 

Beyond his clinical commitments, Dr. Lim is an active contributor to the medical community. He is the founder and president of both the Society for Continence (Singapore) and the Society for Men's Health (Singapore). He has also served as president of the Singapore Urological Association, underscoring his commitment to advancing urological education, awareness, and patient care. 

His specialty interests include sexual medicine, infertility, incontinence and prostate cancer.

Dr. Jimmy Beng
Urologist

Dr. Jimmy Beng is a medical director and consultant urologist in private practice and has been actively pursuing the field of male erectile dysfunction for more than two decades. He holds a keen interest in alternative therapies for sexual problems and inadequacies and has pioneered various modalities in the field of urology including Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy, a method to break down kidney stones using shockwaves without invasive surgery. 

Prior to private practice, Dr. Beng was a senior lecturer in the Department of Surgery, National University of Singapore (NUS). During his tenure in the department, he was involved in all aspects of urological work and published several papers on Transurethral Surgery. 

Dr. Beng was President of the Singapore Urological Association 1990–1992 and chaired the 10th World Congress on Endourology and Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy which attracted over international participants to Singapore. He was the founding member of the Association of Surgeons of South East Asia and the Singapore Urological Association, which has affiliation to the Urological Society of Australia, Endourological Society of USA and the American Urological Association. He is also the Honorary Fellowship of The Institute of Urology, London. 

Dr. Beng graduated from the then University of Singapore and served as Medical Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces before being appointed as Trainee in Surgery in the Department of Surgery, University of Singapore. He later obtained his fellowships from Singapore, Glasgow and Edinburgh and was appointed Lecturer in the Department of Surgery of the University. He then furthered his training in urology at Royal Melbourne Hospital with the Liew Weng Chee Scholarship conferred by the University Department of Surgery Hospital. 

Dr. Beng's specialty interests are alternative therapies for sexual problems and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy.
