The Aquilion One Prism is a 640 slice, 16cm wide area detector machine designed to address complex challenges in medical imaging programmes. With one rotation, imaging of the whole heart and brain can be achieved. The Aquilion One Prism is also equipped with AI-powered innovations designed to enable confident diagnoses for both routine imaging and spectral imaging.
The Aquilion One Prism is able to provide a comprehensive stroke evaluation through whole brain perfusion imaging and 4D digital subtraction angiography of the intracranial circulation in under a minute. Once the scan is complete, within the time it takes for the patient to step out of the CT room, the software will be able to evaluate flow and perfusion defects to ensure doctors have all the diagnostic information needed to make appropriate treatment decisions.
It is powered by three technologies – the Precise IQ Engine (PIQE), Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) and Deep Learning Spectral Reconstruction. These help the machine create sharper cardiac images, clearer low dose lung screening at a radiation dose closer to a chest X-ray, and low noise spectral imaging. The Aquilion One Prism also features various algorithms used to enhance image quality, reduce artifacts in imaging, and provide detailed analyses of bone and joints in musculoskeletal imaging.
The Alphenix 4DCT system combines advanced 4D CT imaging with interventional angiography, enabling complex procedures to be performed with exceptional precision. By seamlessly integrating the flexible Alphenix interventional system with the Aquilion CT imaging suite, it creates a versatile, all-in-one solution. Clinicians can easily switch between CT and angiography within the same room, allowing them to visualise, diagnose, plan, treat and verify procedures without transferring the patient.

The Alphenix 4DCT captures high-resolution images in a fraction of a second, helping to reduce radiation exposure, minimise motion artefacts and shorten procedure times. The system is also powered by Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE), which uses deep learning reconstruction technology to produce low-noise images with natural texture, sharp high-contrast resolution and improved low-contrast detectability. This enables clinicians to make faster, more confident decisions during procedures.
With its wide-area detector CT technology, the Alphenix 4DCT can achieve up to 16 cm of coverage in a single rotation. This allows for high-quality morphological and functional imaging, supporting treatment planning and real-time procedural guidance. Physicians can accurately position devices and needles, and rapidly assess treatment response within the same interventional suite.
