Dr. Chin Yee Lee is a family physician proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese, Japanese and Cantonese. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1990. Dr. Chin’s Broad Based Training in both Emergency Medicine and General Practice has allowed her to integrate general practice and specialist care in Singapore.
Prior to setting up Nichii International Clinic in June 2013 as the Medical Director, Dr. Chin was a Resident Medical Officer at Gleneagles Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit from 1996 to 1999. In Nov 1999, she joined Nippon Medical Care as a medical practitioner before assuming the role of Deputy Medical Director in 2003 and finally, the Medical Director from 2006 to May 2013.
Dr. Chin received basic training in Hand Surgery, Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine before joining the Family Medicine training program where she underwent rotational training in the areas of Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatric Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Dermatology, Geriatric Medicine, Psychiatry, General Practice and Maternal and Child Care in various hospitals and healthcare institutions such as Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Changi General Hospital, National Skin Centre and the Institute of Mental Health.
Dr. Chin is accredited with the Family Physicians Accreditation Board (FPAB) with practicing privileges in Farrer Park Hospital and other private hospitals in Singapore.
Apart from her clinical work, she also participates in active co-management with specialists who attend to emergency in- and outpatients, with a particular focus on Japanese patients.
