Cases of COVID-19 have been reported in mainland China and around the world, and cases are still reported daily.

Visitors and patients visiting our hospital will be asked about their recent travel and contact history to assess the risk to the disease. Please inform our staff, if you had:

  • Visited mainland China; OR
  • Been to Daegu City or Cheongdo County, South Korea; OR
  • Close contact with someone with COVID-19; OR
  • Frequent or close contact with recent travellers from Mainland China in the last 14 days

The information you provide is important in managing the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The Infectious Diseases Act requires a person who has reason to suspect that he is a case or carrier of COVID-19, or has had contact with a person with COVID-19, to act in a responsible manner to not expose other persons to the risk of infection by the disease.
