Dr Gi Ming Tye

Radiologist
Diagnostic Imaging Suite, Farrer Park Hospital

Dr Gi Ming Tye graduated from The Royal London and St Bartholomew's School of Medicine and Dentistry in London in 2000.

He returned to Singapore in 2002 and completed his Basic Specialist Training in 2006 and obtained his Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologist (UK) and Master of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology in the same year. He received his certificate of Specialist Accreditation from the Ministry of Health (MOH) in 2008 after completion of his Advanced Specialist Training.

From 2008 to 2012, Dr Gi worked as an associate consultant and consultant radiologist in the National University Hospital, subspecializing in diagnostic Musculoskeletal Imaging and was also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate training.

In 2010, he completed an Honorary Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at The General Canberra Hospital in Australia under the MOH Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) where he focused on MR and ultrasound imaging and ultrasound guided injections.

From 2012 to 2019, Dr Gi worked as a consultant radiologist at Radlink Diagnostic Imaging.  During his years of service in the public and private sectors, he has worked well with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians and referring clinicians. He now practices at Farrer Park Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Suite.
