Foot and ankle deformities affect a significant proportion of the population of Singapore. Hallux Valgus, Flat foot and Pes Cavus being some of the more common. However, some patients have complex foot deformity related to post-traumatic conditions and Charcot Osteoarthropathy. These are more challenging to treat and require a wide variety of surgical techniques to overcome.
This CME Lunch Talk will present some of the surgical options available for the common conditions as well as the complex foot and ankle deformities.

Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr Antony Gardner graduated from Cambridge University in 1998 and Oxford University in 2001 and did his basic surgical training in the South-West of the UK. His advanced specialist training in Orthopedic surgery was completed in Singapore in 2012. He did his fellowship training in the Orthopedic Trauma Centre in Oxford in 2013 and subsequently worked in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He has a special interest in Orthopedic trauma and post traumatic limb reconstruction with experience managing bone and soft tissue infection and osteomyelitis. He has a keen interest in foot and ankle surgery, including sports injuries, degenerative conditions affecting the foot and ankle, post-traumatic conditions and Charcot arthropathy.
