The HIV epidemic has been called the greatest epidemic of all time.

The epidemic which began in 1981 has come a long way. With the advent of new and powerful drugs (anti-retroviral therapy), the disease has been transformed from a life threatening death sentence to one of a manageable chronic infection in individuals who lead a near normal life as long as they remain on treatment. Going forward, the scientific community is optimistic about finding a cure and achieve zero HIV transmission in the near future.

This CME Lunch Talk will give you a broad prospective of the epidemic thus for and what to expect in the future.

*This session is open to doctors and healthcare professionals only. Thank you.
