Group Chief Operating Officer, Acting Chief Executive Officer, The Farrer Park Company
A seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of in-depth industry experience, Ms. Kelly Yang has built an excellent reputation managing various hospital projects and functions, including strategy development, planning and operations, clinical service delivery, quality matrix implementation, and talent attraction for both established and greenfield hospitals.
Kelly is well acquainted with the American medical center healthcare operation model and its navigation and adaptation to China's complex healthcare landscape. She spearheaded the UCLA-R&F hospital and Cleveland Clinic-Luve healthcare joint project and successfully delivered three independent international hospitals in Shanghai.
Kelly has also led the implementation of international healthcare.
Chief Executive Officer, Farrer Park Hospital
Dr. Timothy Low is the Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member of Farrer Park Hospital. With over 30 years of tenure in both public and private sectors, Dr. Low is widely recognized as an outstanding medical expert who contributes strategically, with deep technical know-how and intuitive financial acumen.
Dr. Low is a passionate transformational leader, maximizing staff contributions to deliver exceptional experiences for customers. He is a proven leader with a track record of success with start-up ventures and operational turnarounds.
He was formerly CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Singapore, and an Asia Pacific Medical Affairs Senior Executive across Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and CRO industries at Shire/Takeda, Covidien/Medtronic, Schering Plough/MSD, Covance, and GlaxoWellcome (now known as GSK).
Dr. Low graduated with a Medical Degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He also attended the Singapore Management University’s Asia Pacific Hospital Management Program and graduated from the Stanford-NUS Graduate School of Business Executive Program.
Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary
A lawyer by training, Ms. Barbara Seng has over a decade of experience in senior management positions. As a CLO and Company Secretary for the Group, Ms. Seng advises the Group on all legal matters. Ms. Seng brings with her a wealth of experience in amongst other things, cross-border acquisitions including reverse takeover, joint ventures, corporate finance, banking, corporate and commercial law (including for procurement of medical equipment), information technology, intellectual property, litigation and arbitration. While in private practice and in a listed group, she dealt with projects including five star luxury hotels, condominiums, the Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay, factory, schools, commercial buildings and governmental and other facilities. While acting as Company Secretary of the listed group, she advised on corporate governance and compliance issues and was also one of the authorised representatives to liaise with and respond to the Stock Exchange of Singapore.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Tracia Lam is the Chief Financial Officer of The Farrer Park Company. In her role, she has direct oversight of the functions of Group finance, financial reporting and controls, treasury, and tax.
Ms. Lam has over 20 years of senior accounting management and corporate finance experience in the healthcare, hospitality, real estate and manufacturing sectors, which includes SGX listed companies, notably Thomson Medical Centre Limited, Healthway Medical Corporation Limited, and Metal Component Engineering Limited.
Prior to joining the Group, over and above her financial management functions, she had executed and managed IPOs in Singapore and Hong Kong, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fund raising exercises, as well as supervision of financial operations in overseas subsidiaries.
Ms. Lam is a qualified Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore), Fellow Member of ACCA (FCCA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She also holds an Honours Degree in Accountancy Studies from University of Portsmouth, UK.
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Chandra Wong is the Chief Information Officer of The Farrer Park Company and has a direct oversight of the functions of the group’s IT strategy & operations. He has more than 25 years of IT experience in Retail, Telecommunication, Hotel and Hospital industry.
Mr. Wong holds a Master of Business Information Technology from RMIT Australia.
Chief Human Resource Officer
Ms. Pearl Lim has both hospitality and healthcare experience. She double-hats as the Chief Human Resource Officer of The Farrer Park Company and the Director of Human Resource of Farrer Park Hospital. Ms. Lim is also Secretary to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
She is armed with pre-opening expertise having helped in a number of pre-opening projects including launching One Farrer Hotel. Her previous roles with well-known MNCs saw her piloting human resource-related initiatives globally and took her to work in places such as China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Mauritius.
She has exposure and experience in good practices relating to Talent Acquisition and Selection, Talent Development and Management, and Compensation. Ms. Lim holds a Master of Human Capital Management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
General Manager, One Farrer Hotel
With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Gilbert Madhavan has worked in Asia, Australia and the Caribbean, spending the last 16 years with Raffles Hotels & Resorts. During his tenure at Raffles, Mr. Madhavan successfully opened and managed Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia, as one of the world's grand historic hotels and resorts. He further played a pivotal role in promoting Cambodia as a destination of choice for visitors.
