What Musculoskeletal Imaging tests are available?

The musculoskeletal system is made up of bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and soft tissues. We provide a range of services is available to diagnose and treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system:

  • Bone mineral densitometry (DEXA) for screening of osteoporosis
  • Routine X-ray, CT scan and MRI of the spine, limbs and joints
  • High resolution Ultrasound​ of peripheral joints and soft tissues
  • MRI of soft tissues and nerves, such as the brachial plexus
  • MR arthrography of the shoulder, wrist, hip, knee joints
  • Ultrasound-guided treatment of peripheral musculoskeletal problems, such as barborage of rotator cuff calcific tendinosis
  • Image-guided injections of steroids and anesthetics into joints for pain management
  • Image-guided aspiration of joint effusions and bursae
  • Hydrodilatation of the should joint for frozen shoulder
