Upper limb paralysis can be caused by a variety of conditions including trauma, stroke, cerebral palsy and peripheral neuropathy. The functional loss can be devastating, but there are many surgical options available to improve function and quality of life.
Unfortunately, this is still not known to most doctors including GPs, rehab physicians, neurologists, pediatricians and even orthopedic surgeons in Singapore who treat these patients. This CME talk introduces the concept of surgical rehabilitation of paralyzed upper limbs and highlights some of the most useful surgical techniques available, with examples of what can be achieved.
*This session is open to doctors and healthcare professionals only. Thank you.
